Step one
A CelluClear-trained therapist runs through our diagnosis process and your expected treatment programme.
Step two
Treatment lasts 25 - 40 minutes depending on the area of skin. A course of six sessions is advised on average.
Step three
With no side effects or time-consuming aftercare regimes, you don't need to schedule in downtime after CelluClear treatments.
Stretch marks form when the collagen and fibres giving your skin its elasticity tear. This happens when the skin is stretched too far over a very short period of time. For example, growth spurts during puberty, pregnancy, or even through weight training. With your skin is unable to bounce back, lines appear on the surface.
To treat your stretch marks, CelluClear reaches way beyond the surface of your skin to repair the tugged and torn tissues causing the lines to form. Treatment works by stimulating a natural biological response within your cells. As the physical make-up of weakened fibres changes, stretch marks are smoothed out and their appearance is noticeably reduced.
Using a combination of electromagnetic energy and gentle suction, CelluClear accelerates the self-renewal of cells. Consequently, toxins are flushed out of your cells quicker, forcing your body to generate new, healthy collagen faster. With the elasticity of the fibres restored, scar tissue heals, allowing the stretch marks on your skin to smooth out. Once exposed to sun, the previously damaged skin will tan as normal and fade into the surrounding skin.
Firstly, your skin is exfoliated and prepared using a high-impact, water-based gel. This creates the best surface for the treatment. Next, your CelluClear technician uses a handheld device to apply electric stimulation and light suction to the area. Each session takes approximately 30-40 minutes. We’ll usually ask you to come back for six treatments, with results becoming visible from your second appointment.
CelluClear is safe, non-invasive and pain-free. There’s no risk of burns, bruising or even sun-sensitivity in the future. You’ll feel light suction during the treatment, but it’s an unusual rather than unpleasant sensation. As a result, there’s no need to schedule in time-out for recovery or a laborious after-care regime. Unless you want to of course.
Cellulite, wrinkles, scars and stretch marks. We want you to understand what causes your skin to respond in these ways. Armed with this information, you can make educated decisions about the best treatment for you.
Do you hate your stretch marks, but can’t stand the thought of pain? You’ll be pleased to hear that the CelluClear procedure is pain-free. During a session there’s no intense heat, no incisions, and no aggressive pressure. In fact you won’t feel that much happening at all. There’s some light suction and a bit of gentle pressure, but that’s it.
CelluClear is different to other skin tightening treatments because it doesn’t work on a damage-repair basis. Our non-surgical treatments aren't invasive and won’t cause any harm to your skin (on the surface or beneath). As a result, you leave the clinic without bruising, burns, swelling or pain, and there’s zero risk of infection or increased sun-sensitivity (yes, treated skin will tan as normal).
None. CelluClear is a non-surgical, painfree way to fade stretch marks. As a result, there’s no recovery period or laborious after-care regime to follow. In fact, organise a session for your lunch break and you can walk straight out of the clinic back into work without discomfort or attracting any unwanted glares.
Stretch marks vary hugely and can appear on your legs, bum, hips, chest, arms, and many more places. Consequently, the duration of your treatment programme will depend on what result you want, the area of your body, and the condition of your skin. But, as a benchmark, for treating stretch marks, usually we recommend six sessions.
Treatments can be performed either once or twice per week. Typically you’ll start to see some changes in your skin after your second treatment. However, you’ll see a much bigger difference in the appearance of stretch marks after the sixth session. Some people choose to continue to eight sessions, but our research shows that this is only likely to improve your results by a further 10%. Your CelluClear therapist will outline your likely course of treatment after running through the diagnosis process with you at your initial consultation.
The machine we use in CelluClear clinics was launched five years ago. From our research so far, we can say with absolute certainty that for most people stretch marks remain reduced for at least five years. But we’re optimistic that you’ll see a noticeable improvement in your skin texture and tone for even longer than this. There’s no compulsory aftercare with CelluClear treatments, but use of our advised skincare combined with a healthy diet and exercise will help maintain results for longer.
Each CelluClear session costs £250. Once we’ve confirmed your programme at the initial consultation, we can give you a more accurate estimate of the full cost of a course of treatment.
Yes. In fact a good dose of the sun’s vitamin D is the best way to show the full impact of a CelluClear stretch mark treatment.
Scarred and damaged skin doesn't tan, which is why stretch marks are more noticeable after sun exposure. A tan simply seems to make them stand out more.
CelluClear repairs tissue, restoring the damage from within, but the process itself doesn’t recolour the skin. The great news is the sun will do this for you naturally. As you tan, all skin adopts the same even tone.
